The Cool Drop: Your Feed Refresh
Content creators around the world that will make your feed a better place.
If you’re going to be on social media, at least make it a beautiful place to be.
Like most people, we have a love-hate relationship — some days I’m endlessly inspired, and others I’m in the depths of comparison (we don’t love).
Lately, though, my algorithm has been serving gold: fashion-forward, deeply lovable creators who remind me why I fell in love with visual storytelling in the first place. They’re expanding my view of what’s possible and inspiring me to connect deeper to art, to expression, and to dressing outside the box.
It would simply be rude not to share a few of my favorites.
Andrea Ricci / @andrea_ricci
Montreal-based minimalist goddess. She’s fashion-obsessed — not just with clothes, but with the culture that surrounds them. Her “Do You Know?” series dives into the lesser-known, yet deeply influential women in fashion history. Smart, stylish, and so easy to watch. She also doesn’t wear any color and I lowkey love that.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson / @gabriellak_j
New York-based stylist, fashion editor, and visual storyteller. STFU when you see this Allure beauty shoot she styled with Alex Consani and Anok Yai — I’m choking. I aspire to one day be dressed by Gabriella. Until then, I’m content stalking her every move.
Maïna Saurez / @maina
The ultimate cool girl. Think tooth gems, midi skirts layered over jeans, oversized Bermudas — every post, a mood board. Her style is artful, unexpected, and distinctly her own. Also, she lives in Paris. Perfect.
Elliot Dupree / @elliotduprey
Undeniably chic. I discovered Elliot through his series “If you can’t dress well cheaply, then you can’t dress well at all.” All I have to say is: amen.
Emily Quach / @emilyquach
My TikTok algorithm really blessed me with this discovery. An Aussie with impeccable taste, Emily’s introduced me to more Australian brands than I can count (coming soon — wink wink). Her and Maina would honestly vibe.
Anok Yai / @anokyai
Not technically a content creator but so good, she deserves two mentions. Anok Yai was the first Black model to open a Prada show since Naomi Campbell — and is rumored to be one of the highest-paid models today. But beyond her beauty, it’s her personal style that captivates: experimental, statuesque, and always a few steps ahead of the rest.
Social media can be a scary, depleting place. But these creators, to name a few, remind be that it’s also full of beauty and inspiration.
To finding inspiration everywhere you go — IRL and online.
Xoxo,
Kel
